Lately it seems that I'm either lazy or I run out of time since I constantly forget to do my blog...well..."forget". I should really get down with it as soon as possible but the present circumstances seem to affect me, like I've been going to bed really late and school is just not helping. I'll be up to date anyways after this post so no big deal.

The Pain Held Within
-
Let the tears flow before...before it all comes to an end...
-Where to start? Right, Thursday...and I thought it was going to be ordinary for a sunny morning. I consider myself as being a very sensible person when it comes to unfortunate moments, like if I see something happen it kind of marks me for a day or two to a point where it consumes my attention. We were driving to school, it was very quiet (for once) but the sun was brighter than usual, just a bit to bright. Me and my mom were talking when a feathery figure passed quickly in front of the car from my side...but it never came out from the other one. My mom screamed...she let go of the sterring wheel (she can be potentiely dangerous when it comes to things like this) and she kept on repeting "I killed a bird, I killed a bird!" I had a constant image in my head of the bird half decapitated on the bumper...wasn't very pleasant. I tried to "calm" everybody down by saying "What if it's still alive...like if it only bounced off the car and flew away?!" But clearly that wasn't the case because when we got home that night the bird was still there...dead...and I have a picture to prove it :o

Dead Bird

Just a reminder...and graphic explanation :P
-As if that day could get any more unfortunate. When we pulled up into the driveway we noticed that my dad was already home. We stepped out of the car like usually when he, my father, stepped out of the house looking rather pale. My mom knew something was wrong and she asked him if he was okay. He simply responded by saying "Oh god, I've just been in a huge accident" So of course, my mom panics and looks at his car which is...in one piece?! She turns around, puzzled, and my father explains to her that he was coming back from the city and was heading home when a motorcycle was driving in the oposite directionm going to the city. Suddenly a car pulled out of a private driveway and engaged itself onto the street without taking notion of the motorcycle coming his way. It came to him in slow motion, the motorcycle hitting the car head on, the passengers flying into the air, the crash and then the panic. He pulled up so fast that he doesn't even recall shutting off his car. He ran to the woman (the passenger) who seemed to be fine although she wanted to move but my dad restrained her of doing so in case of internal bleeding. Soon after he went to help the man (the driver) who was badly injured around the leg and he was spitting blood. Paramedics and the police didn't take long to arrive, a fraction of seconds, and all was under control. My dad, being an owner of many motorcycles in the past, felt really touched by the situation since it is accidents that happen on a regualr basis...to everybody and anybody. In the end everything was fine, although the news reports completely messed up the story, saying that the motorcyclist lost control of his vehicule and that the passenger was air lifter to the hospital (when in reality the driver was airlifted to the hospital).
Now for Friday...hey it's Friday! NO MORE SCHOOL! And the best part is that next week we have a PD day (no school), the week after it's a full week of 5 days (boring) and the week after that we have no school (because some of us are going to university for a week :) ) The summer temperature is starting to really settle in...like today around noon it was 18 degrees celcius! Although it was hot I didn't get to eat outside, a friend and I decided to eat in a random hallway and cut out our much needed pictures for Monday's oral presentation (I hate oral presentation, they get me so nervous).
We watched a part of Romeo and Juliet in English but it's the version with Leornado DiCapreo (ok...I messed up his name) and it was so weird. Like it's set in the present/1980's where the context is mafia like but all the characters talk Elizebethean English and the dialogue during th movie is exactly the same as the text in the original book...so it's incomprehensible. The worst part is that we had a suplement teacher who can hardly speak english...so all she does is try to translate what the teacher wrote in french.

Silence Within The Walls

They fail to see that something is happening
-French class is actually the best class this semester, like today we got to use the computers (our teacher seems to be scared of technology since she looks at those pieces of machinery in such discust that it's embarassing). Although my partner and I never really got a chance to use ours because we needed to work on our huge France Flag/Cardboard creation...which is quite original since we are the team that is the most ahead in class, for once :P
Ohh, and on my way home I gazed into a nearby field and saw that it was littered in gooses! (I don't know if you can say "littered" but I find it appropriate for the context.

Gooses!

An invasion I tell you!
-Anyways, I got home safe and sound and I better head to bed because tomorrow I need to go work at my partners house on the project, although we barely get to work because we laugh to much. Oh, and that reminds me that she just texted me wondering if I had in my position the pictures for the Flag...and turns out I forgot them at school because I was in a hurry to take the city bus (which I don't do often). I'm like so not organized...this always happens to me :( Ah well...one day I'll learn from those mistakes...Anyways, I'm shipping my body off to bed...I'm really tired. See ya!
P.S.: That isn't a picture of my eye (at the begining of the post), I wish it was. It's one of my good friend's eye, a picture which I took last summer and edited recently. It reminds me of the fun we had under the sun...just a little glimps of sunshine to brighten my day...which was unfortunately cloudy :(
