It’s been a while, crazy week at the University of Ottawa is finally over, I finally have a bit of time to write my blog in between a major amount of homework, projects, and tests. I must say that I forgot most of Wednesday’s, Thursday’s, and Friday’s events since the week went by really quickly. I’ll try to remember a little bit but I don’t guaranty anything, so this post will probably be very short. Here I go.

Wednesday…it was sunny, I think, and apart from that there wasn’t a lot of stuff that happened…other than I wasn’t at school. NEXT!

Oh, something actually happened Thursday. First of all, in our business class we were announced that we had to build a lemonade stand for Friday where 6 judges would come and rate our stand depending on four factors (product, publicity, place and price). We could each bring one item from home (we were 4 person in our group) to use in the building of our stand. I was in charge of making a flyer as well as these promotional cup holders. Anyways, the day soon came to an end and we were making our way back home when I saw this kid doing bike on the road. I had a feeling that something was going to happen…and it did. The guy was like catapulted over his bike and landed in the dirt. My parents pulled up quickly to go help him but in my mind I was like “if I were driving I would have ignored him (it isn’t very nice but it’s his fault if he fell)”. Turns out the kid was fine…

Finally Friday, we were putting up our lemonade stands and I was very nervous since I’m the leader in the group, meaning I pretty much do and say everything. We had planned on making different flavours of lemonade to add diversity so I told a team member to bring a variety of Kool-Aid. When we got to class she shows me what she has and it’s like a pouch of grape Kool-aid and five pouches of lime-lemon Kool-Aid. I pretended I didn’t care, but interiorly I was really freaking out. I ran to the pharmacy to see if they had some (I never even tasted it so god knows where to find it). In the end I didn’t find anything, I wasted valuable time and we improvised with what we had until the clients arrived. Time flew by, our lemonade SUCKED! Like it wasn’t even drinkable. We had a lunch break for an hour; there was a storm coming ahead and a lot of cops on campus. I wondered what happened when my mom called me up to tell me that a student got hit by a car…it was a bloody mess. Anyways, we got back in class, the winners were announced (not us) but we came miraculously in second place (wow). It was time to leave University for good and it was raining hardcore outside. My friends and I were waiting under an overpass when one of my friends came rushing to us, she looked like a wet dog. She had run for like 5 minutes in the rain and was therefore drenched.
