The Monologue

Salutations!

I feel as if it’s been years since I last wrote on this blog. I seriously forgot about it, no joke. I like remembered today but it’s really not my fault, there’s so much going on that I just don’t have the time…but I made a promise to not let down this blog and a promise made is a promise kept. Let’s get down to business right now since I really need to get my stuff prepared for another exciting day at the University of Ottawa.

I left my blog on Friday, if I do even remember. Luckily I wrote down some of the days important events to avoid losing the track of time. It is actually very helpful since I barely recall those things. Here we are, Friday. I’m going to start out with that morning. I don’t really remember why but I got to wake up late on that morning, almost an hour later. I was so happy, getting up in the morning very early really kills me. After that it was school, nothing interesting. It’s at lunch that everything happened; a friend and I decided to go eat by the river where we laid in the grass. The water was in front of us, it was peaceful and calm, the sky was grey and cloudy. All of a sudden two ducks (male and female) come diving into the river. It was very beautiful…very beautiful until they started to have sexual intercourse in front of us! I couldn’t help but to scream GET A ROOM! (or a private pond) because it was SO disgusting…

Next was Saturday, I had to get prepared that morning since I had this informational session at the university as guide to next week’s classes. All and all it was very good, I mean it gave me a taste of what was up for me in the future. After that I went shopping with a friend, we had a blast. I actually bought stuff, I’m amazed. Oh, when I got home there was this big issue with us loosing electricity the next morning from 5 to 11. That was really a problem since we needed to go to my cousins first communion on that day and my mom and I needed to do our hair (yes, I do my hair, I use a straightner). So we came to a conclusion that we were going to wake up at 4:30 to do everything we needed to do and then try to get back to sleep without messing our hair up. It was such a stupid idea, seriously, like I was holding my straightner and I could barely stroke it since my arms were so tired. After 5 minutes of trying I looked at my mom and told her that I was giving up and that I was going to bed…meaning that I wouldn’t attend my cousin’s first communion. Later on I woke up at 7:30 to notice that my clock was still working (digital clock). Weird, weren’t we supposed to have a power outage? I got up and questioned my mom. She told me that there was a HUGE misunderstanding with the power company since they called all the residents of town when the power was to be cut for only the east side of the sector. I hate electricity, even though I’m dependant of it…

I pretty much said everything for Sunday; it was a very boring day. And finally today was Monday, my first day at university for this week. I was eager to start since I don’t know anybody in my class but I was excited at the same time. And I’m glad that I chose that class (business) since it’s like very fun, although we did primarily ice breaker activities today to get to know each other (I hate those things). I’m looking forward to this week; it’s really going to help me with my future choices.

Anyways, time for me to go to bed, see ya!
