Ahhh! This seems all so new to me, blank page, and so many ideas yet so little time. School is getting crazy recently, there’s no stop, and it’s like intense work. On top of that we have the exams coming soon so I’ll have to study hardcore. I’m trying so hard to find time for my blog but it’s almost impossible, and when I do I’m so late in the chain of event that I simply forget…I’m so bad at this. No time to lose, if I remember well my last post dates back to Wednesday of last week (I haven’t posted in a full week!).

My Bleeding Heart

Here's to another broken heart to fix...

Okay, Thursday…what happened on that completely normal school day…right, we started our in class essay on Romeo and Juliet. I’m not an organized person so when the teacher told us we could have access to our notes during our test I was like @!/$, I probably don’t have those papers. As a matter of fact I couldn’t find them; they were nowhere to be seen. I couldn’t remember anything…a thesis, what’s a thesis?!?!? Then we had to do an outline, a properly formatted essay outline. Everybody had a sheet to rely on, everybody except me! I was really starting to stress…hopefully the teacher told us that we could bring the essay home to complete it and hand it in Tuesday (since Monday we didn’t have school, it was Victoria Day).
Ehh…Friday? Oh ya! Friday was such a FUN day, like we barely had classes since it was the day against homophobia in our school. We had these very interesting and entertaining as well as enriching speeches by people with different sexual inclinations, one of them being Jermey Diaz (I don’t know if you’ve heard of him before but he is this extraordinary guy who is amazingly funny). The students were so implicated in the activities, it was just fabulous. I never saw so many teenagers fighting for the same cause, regardless of their sexual inclination.

And of course after Friday comes Saturday, the moment of truth because I was to attend my grand-parents 50th anniversary with Emilie…where she was going to meet ALL of my family, 80 men and women. I was seriously stressing out, so much that when I got to her house I barely had any saliva left in m mouth (I know, it sounds very disgusting and stupid but its reality). Oh ya, and to add to that I was going to meet her grandparents that were driving in from Tilsonburgh, a little town near London, Ontario. She kept on going on how her grandfather was going to quiz me about many things to see if I was worthy enough for his granddaughter…yikes! From then on it went really well, we went to mass (I HATE THE FRIKEN CHURCH!!! I’m not religious and it disgusts me so much, like my parents were starting to get really impatient over the pastor who couldn’t pronounce a single word in French and I was very nervous since all of my relatives were looking at Emilie as if she was an alien). We then went to the restaurant, ate (of course) and back to her house I went to drop her off. I wanted to kill my dad when he told me that he would let me there for 10 minutes while he went to get himself a cup of coffee (her grandparents were there). But it was faith, and I couldn’t run away. Surprisingly I didn’t jam in my answers and spoke in complete sentences…at least I think. By the time I got home it was really late and my aunt who came down from Seattle, USA, was staying at my house overnight.
Sunday! I mean OH NO IT’S SUNDAY! I hate Sundays...usually they announce the end of the week-end but since it was Victoria Day on Monday we had no school…so it was basically another day off. We sat down for breakfast and my aunt gave me a card wishing me happy birthday (I was like WHAT!? My birthday is only in a month). She insisted on me opening it and I did, but to my surprise there was nothing inside of the card (usually she puts cash inside but there was nothing…0) So I look at her and she takes a plane ticket from under the table and says “This summer you’re coming with me to Seattle!” I was so HAPPY!! Finally! I’ve been waiting for this for so long! And the best part is that I’m getting y drivers license 2 days before I leave so when I land I Vancouver I get to drive all the way to Seattle! FUN FUN FUN! Anyways that’s my principal highlight for Sunday.

Shade of Warmth

If only everything was this welcoming

Monday was pretty much spent at Em’s house where we were “working” on our French Presentation/Project, which is never ending. When our team-mate left one hour later Em and I decided to get all of the garden stuff out of her backyard shed. It was really fun, the stuff was really heavy but it was quite enjoyable after all. Afterwards we proceeded to go watch a movie downstairs “Hitch” but I grew tired at about 1 hour 30 minutes into the film so we decided to go for a walk instead.
Tuesday (So many days with absent posts, this one won’t be long) I forgot to hand in my essay since I had like a ton of questions regarding the format of it. I finally won my point and got the permission to hand it in later. In the afternoon we presented our French Project (FINALLY!!) which was much appreciated by all.
Finally Wednesday, no school! We had a field trip to the War Museum and it was quite enjoyable, tiring but fun. We walked for what seemed like forever. And now I’m back home, finishing up this post to proudly say that I’m UP TO DATE! Going to finish my **** load of homework, bye bye.
