Back To School

Surprisingly isn’t that bad!

Cedric is back in school! It sure does feel weird to be one step away from being the oldest in high school, because I actually feel as if I got started yesterday. Time is seriously going by way to fast, and I was all excited to be 16?! Now I only wish time could stop and I could stay 16 forever, because everything is kind of perfect right now; not to old, not to young, you’re chasing liberty, you’re getting responsibilities, you don’t need to pay for a lot of stuff, you’re not a kind nor and adult, yet my life is incomplete. We all are!

Super anxious when I first stepped into the school on Wednesday! I hadn’t felt that feeling in a year, and I don’t really like it. Remember how last year I got to school an hour before class started, well it’s still the same. Sometimes it’s long, but on the first day I didn’t mind since I needed to go see my counsellor for this schedule problem. Of course there’s a HUGE line waiting outside the door, because everybody has problems this year. Not only that, but to many people tried to get into our school this year so they had to limit the number of student, hence it’s a full house…meaning there’s A LOT of people in the hallways. Anyways, I finally got to talk one on one with my counsellor, and she figured out my problem, it’s just that now I don’t have my economy class anymore, instead they had to give me a psychology class. That’s just great; I don’t see myself listening to other people’s problems, absolutely not. I guess I just need to give the class a shot. So now my classes for this semester are Writing, Psychology, French, and Law. All my classes are fine, and surprisingly I like my Psychology class…because all of my very close friends are in it. Isn’t that like the perfect period everybody dreams for? At least now I have two classes that I really like, talking about Psychology and Law. Yes, Law, and it’s so entertaining. Best of all is that we had a random quiz to put into practice what we know about Canadian Law, and surprisingly I scored one of the highest in the class. This is looking promising!

I’m so excited to see my friends again; I all missed them SO much, without forgetting that I’m really late on all of their lives. I finally get to see Em on a day to day basis, that’s a plus! And now we’re back to the river, our usual spot where we hang out, good memories, and bad ones, but in the end it’s just tradition.

Today I finally decided to start this project of mine, although it’s personal…meaning it’s not academic, and I call it my Photography Notebook Project. It’s basically this journal that my cousins gave me on my 15th birthday, that I never used until this day, in which I insert my photography idea and once the pictures are taken I simply add them to the journal, tadam!
