Hey! Sorry if I didn’t get the chance to post yesterday night, it’s because I was really busy packing…or at least I think. My mom pretty much did everything since I had some last minute picture editing to do. Why picture editing? Well I now have a collection of pictures that I found worthy of showing, that will be added to DeviantArt later on during the week. My gallery presently only has 3 pictures in it but by the end of the I’ll need to upload every single picture one by one makes me nervous, but who gives because someone has to do it, right?

Frame my face and throw my body to waste
-To resume yesterday I can say that I stressed a bit, I did some last minute photo editing and Em came over until the next day to spend time with me and the family. If I do recall correctly I went shopping with my parents in the morning…although the shopping wasn’t exactly for me. It was for my dad…and I’m not really patient when people are slow to try on stuff…so I got bored, and I kept on looking at myself in the mirror for no reason until my mom got annoyed. What can I say, I just was that bored…although in the end it was some good quality time with my family!
Where am I right now? Well ladies and gentlemen I’m in Seattle! I took my plane and I’m finally here, and it sure does feel well to escape Canada for a bit. I love my family to death, as well as my friends and my love, duh, but I was looking forward to this trip since forever and I wasn’t going to let anything get in my way.
As I was saying, this morning I woke up early since I still had some last minute packing to do and I was supposed to leave home at 2 to get to the airport. I was stressing more and more as the minutes went by since I had this constant reminder in my head that I was going to forget something. Well, I can’t really blame myself because I did forget something after all. When we were half way between home and the airport I realized that I had forgotten my running shoes that my aunt wanted me to bring so we could do some hiking. How dumb can I be? The worst part is that she reminded me the night before. When you’re half way to destination and you have a flight to catch there’s nothing much you can do. It’s up to you to figure something out so that you can equally benefit from the situation, even though it might not be possible.

The very next day
-So we get to the airport safe and sound, we drop off the luggage and the guy at the counter tells me what gate to go trough at what time. I now have an hour and a half to spare. This is when we sat down at this restaurant place overlooking the runway and we talked, and I stressed, until my parents decided that it was the right time to bring me to the security gate before entering the main hall where all the terminal things are. This was my final goodbye for 13 days, and I felt sad to leave the ones I love behind. But in the end I’m sure this whole trip will be beneficial from every aspect, at least I hope.
Now I need to wait at my gate for about 30 minutes, and there’s a woman next to me that is constantly stating that the flight will be delayed due to heavy air masses in the sky or whatsoever. I didn’t know whether I was supposed to believe her or simply ignore her, and ignore I did. Turns out she wasn’t talking about the right thing since my flight wasn’t delayed, although there was a lot of turbulence. 5 hours in a plane sure is long, even more when you’re stuck in the middle of to random strangers, one on your left that keeps on closing the window that I want open and the other one on my left that keeps on drawing the frame of the TV touch screen. And to add to that there are individual screens behind each seats on which you can watch actually new movies, one of them being Wathcmen. I has heard of the movie although I wasn’t quite sure what the whole concept was based on. Anyways, this steamy scene starts to play all of a sudden and the guy next to me is starring at my screen intensely, like he never saw a thing of the sort before. It was kind of funny, yet a bit weird, but at least what he did pushed me to write something random on my blog.
I landed in Vancouver at around 7:30; it is there that I met up with my aunt. We drove from Vancouver to Seattle in her sick convertible, a Lexus SC430, and the temperature was PERFECT! I have never seen so many mountains in my life…because in Ottawa we don’t have much.
Anyways I’m in bed now, typing on a laptop. I should get some sleep to catch up on the time difference between here and home. I’ll keep you guys posted. Take care, see ya.
