Guess Who's Back

Obvious!

Look at who is back from vacation! Being away for 4 days sure is tiring. I have so much to talk about but I have this headache so I can’t really concentrate, hence I’ll probably go through this weekend’s events very quickly.

Where to start, right, Friday (this I what I hate about multiple day posts, they’re based on enumeration). We left Bourget in excitement to get to who knows where, expecting but the best. We had a blast in the car, entertained by the GPS that was all screwed up and that kept on marking our situation as in a random field as well as laughing at the awkward town names like Bathville, Monkland and Salaberry de Wakefield. After about 2 hours we got to the camp site and let me just that the place was HUGE. It didn’t take much time before we were settled down and next thing you knew we were on our bikes, ready to explore the rest of this humongous camping. After 4 days of non stop biking our legs gained muscular mass without a doubt. I can’t remember much but one thing that I do recall is a midnight golf cart off-road ride that turned out a bit illegal; illegal as in we needed to hide in bushes to escape security guards. I’m not the outlaw kind of guy that gets in trouble all the time but once in a while it sure feels good to get your blood pumping twice as fast through your veins.

Saturday, most beautiful day ever, although I woke up burning; the sun was scorching. On every Saturday there’s a flea market across the street and since we were at the camping we took the time to visit a bit. Prices were unbeatable...but the thing is that I couldn’t find my money back at the lot so I ended up not buying anything. Ah well, more money for me I guess. When we came back from the flea market it was obvious that we couldn’t ignore the pool and overheat. Truth is I’m not such of fan of swimming, and I rarely go in pools…even if I have one at home, so it was quite an exception when I got in the water. Afterwards we headed to the beach where my friend and I laid down to “tan” while my 2 other friends went back to the pool. I guess “tanning” is just not for me, because after a few minutes I was back at the pool, but this time with sunglasses on my face and a shirt on my torso. Clearly I wasn’t in the water until my friend’s dad came and pulled me in. It was HILARIOUS. Some people might have had reacted badly but I don’t let stuff like this bring me down, never. That night I was exhausted and I fell asleep in a golf cart with my friend next to me who was on MSN on my BlackBerry. Supposedly I was saying random stuff…but I don’t remember really.

Yep, Sunday, last full day of camping before we started packing to head home. It was the first day with rain since we left and it was kind of a set back because everybody was so isolated. The rain stopped at around 4:30 in the afternoon. Nothing really happened in the afternoon, the major took place at night when there was a dance organized at the community hall. I’m not that into dances, I don’t have any problems with the whole concept I’m just not that outgoing. Anyways, after an hour or so I got really bored and I just felt like leaving. My friends on the other hand wanted to stay longer in case good songs were played, but obviously that wasn’t the case. So I stood there, arms crossed, waiting for someone to make a valid decision. It didn’t take long for my boredom to spread all around. That night I was exhausted and really looking forward to coming back home into my stuff, despite all the fun we had.

When I got up on Monday I could breathe a sigh of relief. Finally we were packing and heading back home. I’m getting worse with the time that passes. I don’t know why but I’m just comfortable at home. Some teenagers seem to seek liberty away from home while all I can say on my behalf is that I love my life at home. Crazy yet realistic, it’s all I can say.

Did it feel good or what to finally relax on my bed!? My TV, my iPod, my computer, my everything, and the best part (as well as the worst) is that my brother is away until Wednesday. I remember watching TV on that night and landed on a candy commercial. Coincidently I was eating the same candy at the very moment, but the thing is that after seeing the commercial I was left wanting more?! How is that even possible, wanting satisfaction over satisfaction? Clearly it’s one of those publicity tricks that gets you hook but then again why do we fall for it? Anyways, it doesn’t make any sense it’s just something I noticed.
