Going Asian

Ya Ya!

I promise you this won’t be a long post because I’m exhausted and I really need some sleep...and my eyes are starting to get bloodshot, never a good thing.

Okay, why is everything turning around this Asian context recently? No, it’s not because Seattle has a large Asian population nor is it because I’m going crazy. It’s because I’ve been eating at Asian restaurants lately and I like it A LOT. Sometimes I wonder why I was so reluctant to try different stuff, because I was seriously missing out on a lot. But I can’t really blame myself because everything happens at the right time, and this is right because it’s this kind of crash course before I go to China in March. It’s coming my way so soon and I still haven’t realised that I’m going on the very other side of the planet, crazy.

Searching, searching and still searching. I haven’t found those yellow Converses I want to buy so desperately. I’m starting to think that they don’t even exist. Or maybe they do and I’m just not looking at the right place...that’s a more valuable answer. As a matter of fact my aunt called the Converse outlet here in Seattle and they confirmed that they indeed have them in yellow. My life is saved...and complete, not really. Long live the outlets! The only thing is that the store is situated a bit far from Seattle and it would be useless to go and come back, so what my aunt decided to do was to head down to the store on Monday while on our way to Vancouver. It’s a great idea...let’s just hope they can keep them on hold for that long.

I can’t believe my trip is already coming to an end...and that school will start in a few days after my arrival in Canada. Summer is short after all...and the less you can do is watch it go by. Heck, I’m kind of excited to start school again but at the same time after my first day I’ll be screaming I WANT SCHOOL TO END SOON. It’s just the way things are...relativity. Speaking of Seattle (I wasn’t really speaking of that but who gives) we did this underground city tour today. It was really intense, authentic and bizarre at some point. Bizarre because the guide we had randomly told us at one point that the next room we were going to enter was one of the most haunted and that the History channel went there as well as The Ghost Hunters...or something like that. It’s spooky when you’re caught off guard.

Last paragraph before I leave: Today I met this person on the street, although I didn’t really talk to it. I’m saying it because when you see that person at first you’re really puzzled and you wonder whether it’s a he or a she. I know, it’s mean of me to say that but the person, which turned out being a she in the end, had a man’s face but a women’s breast. It’s not like the person was normal or anything...well okay everybody is normal but I mean she obviously ruined her life in one way because she was begging for money in front of Starbucks. When you see these type of people you really wonder how they got to that point of life deterioration. It’s sad, but there’s nothing you can do about it...and I seriously don’t know what I’m writing right now...
