On Top Of The World?

Ya right, now I’m on top of the universe!

What’s up with me being all cocky all of a sudden? It’s not like me to be like this...and I’m not even sure if I can consider this being cocky, anyways. Remember a few days ago how I mentioned that I felt as if I was on top of the world on that mountain that my aunt and I climbed, well that was nothing compared to what we did today. Ever heard of Mount St-Helen, the volcano in the state of Washington that exploded in the 1980’s and that lost one third of its composition due to a huge landslide. Well we went there today, my aunt, her boyfriend, and I, and let me just say that it was absolutely fabulous. I have never seen something so morbid that it was beautiful. Why morbid? It’s because as a result of the explosion the whole landscape around the volcano got destroyed and was turned into a wasteland. At first vu you could actually be fooled into believing that someone dropped a nuclear bomb in the area, no joke. It was such a sweet escape for the day; we were so high and the view was simply incredible. I wouldn’t give away this doing for a single thing, because it was really one of the best days of my life. I might never travel to such a location in my life, and I’m glad that my aunt and her boyfriend had the kindness to have brought me there.

Is it late now or what? I just finished packing my stuff because it is indeed the last night I’m spending here in Seattle. It’s really sad to come to think of it because this is like home for me right now. But I really couldn’t ask for more because I had the time of my life, I laughed and I had fun, and now it’s time to head back to dear old Canada...home sweet home. I’m going to miss my aunt and her boyfriend so much once I get on that plane, my one way ticket. They have been so nice to me and I’m so happy that I got to spend some much deserved quality time with them, and like I said: I will be coming back, no doubt about it!

I should head to bed now, because it’s really late and I’m leaving first thing tomorrow morning for Vancouver, where we’ll spend the night, and it’s separate routes from there on. I hope you all have a great one, goodbye!
