Waking Up In Seattle

And it’s a whole new day!

Yep! This morning I woke up in dear old Seattle! What a feeling...although the time is quite cloudy outside. For me it was a bummer not to see the beautiful sun but for the people here it was a miracle. They had scorching hot weather for so long and now all the grass is yellow. Anyways, this is totally random. I’m glad to be here and there’s no doubt about it.

So I just got here, and it hasn’t even been a day yet, and when I wake up this morning my aunt tells me that we’re going shopping. I had planned to do my back to school clothing shopping here in Seattle but I didn’t plan on it being this early. I guess you just need to float with the boat, as they say...is that even a phrase?! I had a few places that I wanted to check out since in Ottawa we don’t have much boutiques; and I planned on getting there alive, alive because my aunt told me that I was going to drive. At first I was a bit hesitant because I didn’t drive a lot yet and I’m still pretty fragile, but then again I couldn’t just say no...right? Next thing I know I was behind the wheel, pulling out onto the street. The worst part is I`m not even sure I`m street legal here in the United-States. Apart from catching a curve at high speed and driving to close to the sidewalk I was all fine, until I spotted a police cruiser in my rear-view mirror. I constantly told myself to stay calm and not to panic because if I look suspicious I`m surely going to get arrested. Well that wasn’t the case because the cruiser simply drove by me as if everything was normal...or him, not for me.

So we got to the mall in one piece, and alive; I’m not that bad of a driver after all. The malls are huge here, or maybe it`s because the malls in Ottawa are so little. They are stores that I completely blew me away, and in the end I found 9 pieces of clothing, all tops. Amongst these stores we went into H&M, and I must say that I adore this store because of the uniqueness, awkwardness and loss price of the clothing. Some may argue, but I found some cool stuff. I also went to Hollister, Abercrombie&Fitch, and American Eagle, your typical stores.

My aunt decides to take me to a Vietnamese restaurant for lunch, and the way she described the food made it sound so tasty and yummy. We got there and she sure was right, the food was delicious and very appetizing. I’d sure go again...but I kind of forgot the name of the restaurant. Ah well, some things are better left unsaid!

I finally found the time to put all of my pictures up onto deviantART, and I had a lot of pictures. Overall I`d say about 150 pictures, but the effort was worth it. I hope you`ll enjoy my gallery because there’s much time and effort put into it. Take care.
