A Bit Morbid

-
I finally got to use my camera at its full potential! Yes, I had my first ever photoshoot with my new Canon EOS Rebel T1i! Where to start now? Hum….how about this: I’ve been constantly telling myself that I’m not a photographer; instead I’m more of what you call a creative photographer. What’s that? Well it’s basically someone who takes pictures but in a creative way. For example, my images might reflect certain emotions that aren’t always channelled correctly with the audience. Anyways, once you see the new pictures I took with my new camera you’ll know what I’m talking about, other than that you’re probably just lost!

Talking about my very first photoshoot, well I chose Em as my model, because of course she’s very special and I promised as well. I really wanted for the weather to be cloudy and kind of morbid in a sense, to incorporate this depressing mood into the pictures. Of course nobody wants to take depressing pictures, but that’s just what I wanted, and nobody was going to tell me to do otherwise. Miraculously my wish was granted…but when there’s rain there are bugs, because the air is humid. No joke, I have bug bites on my face! I hate nature when it comes to photography, it might be beautiful but once it has enough it simply sends out a swarm of mosquitoes to chase after you. Oh, and before I forget, the picture up above is my favourite frame from the whole photoshoot. Why? Maybe because it’s very different in a way, and it’s really expressive; not your usual smile and pretty eyes.

You might have noticed that I changed the format of my posts. It’s due to boredom…of always adding two insignificant pictures with text under them. Now my goal is to put up pictures that are actually linked to the subject of the post…so you guys can have a visual aspect of what I’m talking about. Genius right!? Okay, maybe not quite, but sure is different!
