I Wanna A New Camera

Now!

I’m still alive and doing just fine, to all of you who were starting to wonder. Life’s great on vacation, I don’t have to worry about anything other than myself. Isn’t this awesome, b
Today, while my aunt, her boyfriend, and I were walking on the University Campus we came across a camera shop. It instantly caught my attention and I had talked to my aunt about the new camera I wanted to get; I didn’t hesitate to step in. As soon as I got close to the guy standing at the counter I asked to see a Canon EOS 50d, and there it was...in my hands. The guy actually took one out and let me feel it. It was truly amazing, like a little taste of what might be coming up ahead. We checked the prices, and it was what I was expecting for a camera of this complexity. Now the only thing left to do is to call up the old folks back in Canada and ask them what they think of the purchase. If they say yes then the camera is mine in a few days...and if they say no well I guess I’ll just need to wait a bit more. But I had enough of waiting and I kind of want it NOW! I’m not usually demanding but I’ve been looking it up for quite a while and I had enough of this anticipation. Let’s be optimistic now.

What was I doing on Campus anyways; shopping of course, duh. I really wanted to go check out Urban Outfitters since we don’t have it in Ottawa and I did a search on their jeans ant they’re quite nice. So I bought 2 pairs of jeans, and afterwards we headed to American Apparel. We indeed do have an American Apparel in Ottawa but I always was quite hesitant to visit the store due to its somewhat unique nature. One thing that particularly turned me off in Ottawa was that the dressing rooms didn’t have mirrors so you were forced to step out of the room and show your clothing to every employee in the store while they`re telling you how beautiful the pieces are when in reality it`s completely false. I guess it`s just a way of life as well as a strategy to make money. But to my surprise when I chose out my pieces I noticed that the changing rooms did indeed have mirrors; A plus for me since I don’t need to embarrass myself and play the model in front of complete strangers. In the end I bought two more pieces there as well. I`m proud of what I bought and the thing is that I still have money to spend. I might check out a pair of yellow converse in the next few days because my old pair at home is getting pretty worn out. You got to love them Converses.

I was surprise to see how many Apple stores they are here in the United-States, as well as the number of people who own iPhones. In Canada they are so damn expensive that almost nobody has them, here it`s a common sight. It`s weird how everything changes so drastically from one country to another, even though we`re neighbours. We just have to keep in mind that the grass is always greener on the neighbour`s lawn until you find out it`s artificial. That`s called thriving for more...but look at where I`m at right now, this doesn’t even make any sense.

Sorry for the random pictures of me, I was outside having fun with the webcam on the laptop. You know, boys and their toys, there`s nothing you can do about it! I think this is enough for tonight, good night everybody!

P.S.: I found some pretty good Lady Gaga music recently and I`m really hooked, so if you`re not a fan of Gaga might as well ignore the Daily Beat!
